This role is a mix of hands on application development and managerial support, working closely with the Senior ICT Service Delivery Manager to continually improve the service we offer to our internal and external customers.
Managing the ICT Applications Team, you will use your specialist knowledge and experience to provide technical leadership, adding value and improving the team’s capabilities. You will act as a technical specialist providing day to day support, maintenance and advanced administration of all line of business applications and provide proactive solutions to optimise productivity. As a key customer facing manager, you will build strong stakeholder relationships by translating technical concepts and provide specialist project support to all application owners.
The ICT Applications Manager will work with the Senior Service Delivery Manager to translate business requirements into tangible projects and application based solutions. You will own and maintain adequately resourced forward plans spanning full ICT services and work with and for Senior ICT Managers to deliver a range of projects and initiatives focused on the development of new and improved applications to customers.
We’re looking for an individual who has extensive experience supporting and leading the development of business applications, specifically in the Housing sector, and who can take on new applications bringing into live working environments. You’ll have a strong practical understanding of information governance and specifically DPA / GDPR.
Experience of Kirona DRS / Capita OPENHousing / OPENAccounts / Microsoft Dynamics would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of SQL querying, CSS, HTML and APIs.
